Our generation is starting to awaken. I have had the most amazing, deep, meaningful conversations with people my age and from all walks of life. Customers at my work, coworkers at the break room, my closest of my friends, we all agree on something: we are not doing what we love.
I grew up watching all kinds of movies with my dad. He is the definition of an eccentric movie goer. That’s why I think I saw a Charles Chaplin movie before a Disney one. Charles Chaplin’s movie The Great Dictator was the first movie I saw him speaking in. I was in awe the moment he opened his mouth in the speech scene of this movie, but it wasn’t the fact that he spoke that caused me shock. When we think of destiny, we should think of a big plan, something that we were meant to do and become, that, I don’t believe. What I do believe though, it’s on fate.
Fate is whatever consequence your action had and was meant to be in order for you to be where you are and who you are now. I think it’s important for people to allow their fate to flow, and accept that there are no regrets in life. At one moment or another, we wanted to do something, and the outcome is what it is.
